Axminster carpet is composed of warp yarn, weft yarn and pile warp. The material of the warp yarn is 100% polyester. The material of the weft yarn is jute or PP, and most of them are now PP, because in some humid places, jute will be moldy. The material of the carpet is 80% wool and 20% nylon.
Production Line
This is the axminster process. The width is 4 meters, so the machines are very large. Behind the machine is the creel, a tube of creels of different colors, hung on the shelf, from here onwards ,and then weaving. The yarn is transported to the front through the tube. Finaly, inspection, repair and package. Before shipment, every square meter of carpet will be inspected to ensure that the carpet is delivered to the customer.
